Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Python / Java who will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining a complex distributed processing application utilizing python and Java. The developer will work closely with Product Owner/Data Coaches/Analysts/DBA and Scrum/Kanban teams to ensure alignment with program standards, backend-frontend requirements, and Agile delivery expectations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 9 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
  • Strong Python development with JAVA experience or Strong JAVA
  • Development with python experience
  • Experience with distributed workloads via Spark/Hadoop/Other
  • Must have SQL skills; Snowflake experience a plus
  • AWS experience
  • Strong shell scripting
  • Team player
  • Excellent executive function and communication skills
  • US Citizen or Green Card
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience; certification preferred.
  • CLI Linux experience
  • Visual Studio (VS code) or other IDE experience
  • Job scheduling / process automation experience
  • Rules-based model experience
  • Experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) information systems.
