Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Developer with expertise in Java, Hadoop, and Python. The role involves migrating applications from Hadoop environments to cloud systems, as well as coding and automation testing.
Responsibilities:
• Migrating apps from Hadoop environment to new cloud systems
• Coding and automation testing
• CI pipeline for deployment
Qualifications:
Required:
• Total 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experienced in Python, Java (core), SQL & Cloud Development
• Good exposure to web / app servers
• Experience in Python backend scripting
• Experience with Java (core)
• Exposure to application deployments in App servers
• Big Query, Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Working knowledge of GCP/platform
• Strong SQL knowledge
• UNIX scripting knowledge
• Hadoop knowledge
