POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The Director of Partnerships, Development & Strategic Initiatives is a senior revenue and relationship-building leader responsible for growing, diversifying, and sustaining HACE's national revenue portfolio. This role will lead strategy and execution across corporate partnerships, major and mid-level individual giving, grants, employee giving campaigns, sponsorships, and fee-for-service offerings, while also identifying new and innovative revenue streams aligned with HACE's mission.
The Director will oversee partnership development, fundraising initiatives, and program-related revenue generation, while managing the day-to-day operations of the Partnerships Department. This position reports to the Vice President of Development & Strategic Initiatives and works closely with marketing, program staff, and senior leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Growth & Development Strategy
  • Design, lead, and execute a diversified revenue strategy that includes corporate partnerships, major and mid-level individual giving, grants, sponsorships, employee giving campaigns, and fee-for-service programs.
  • Proactively identify, research, and test new revenue opportunities that align with HACE's mission, including earned revenue and innovative partnership models.
  • Expand and deepen relationships with existing partners and donors while cultivating new prospects nationwide.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to establish annual revenue goals, forecasts, and multi-year growth strategies.
  • Lead and support fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and special events in collaboration with staff, Board members, Young Professional Board, and Alumni Leadership Boards.

External Relationships & Partnerships:
  • Strengthen and expand corporate, philanthropic, and institutional partnerships that support both program delivery and organizational sustainability.
  • Retain, grow and acquire revenue by working closely with current partners and generating new revenue and business partnerships to the organization.
  • Provide oversight and work closely with Senior Partnership Manager to enhance and confirm partnership renewals.
  • Serve as a senior external representative of HACE, building trust and long-term value with donors, sponsors, and community stakeholders.

Partnership Evaluation, Design & Revenue Integration
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to customize and refine programs that deliver impact and attract funding through grants, sponsorships, customized offerings, and fee-for-service models.
  • Support development of customized and scalable program offerings for grant opportunities, corporate and institutional partner funding.
  • Work with partners to ensure high-quality engagement and seamless delivery of programs, events, and leadership initiatives.
  • Analyze and report qualitative and quantitative feedback from partners, participants, donors and other stakeholders to identify successes and lessons learned, and to make program adjustments to align with revenue opportunities.
  • Strategize and lead fundraising generating activities and research new funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HACE staff, Board of Directors, HACE Auxiliary Board, HACE Advisory Board and HACE Alumni in planning fundraising events and informational seminars.
  • Conduct analysis by generating various reports, sales forecasts, and budgets and present to Senior Leadership.

Marketing, Communications & Public Engagement
  • Identify and lead the recruitment of sponsors, grants and donors nationally, identifying opportunities, and effectively engaging HACE leadership programs alumni in the process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to strengthen HACE's brand visibility and position leadership programs as a premier national platform.
  • Identify and pursue speaking engagements, conferences, and visibility opportunities that support revenue growth and brand awareness.
  • Engage alumni, volunteers, and ambassadors as advocates and contributors to fundraising and partnership efforts.

Management & Teamwork
  • Hire, train, and manage partnership team; provide ongoing guidance and support to the team.
  • Develop and oversee account management plans that align with revenue and relationship goals.
  • Track and report on revenue goals; strategize and provide solutions to ensure gaps and opportunities are identified to meet overall revenue goals.
  • Supervise and oversee the performance of direct staff reports, consultants, and speakers.
  • Provide oversight of the departmental strategic plan, budget and performance aligned with departmental and organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business development, nonprofit management, fundraising, partnerships, education, public administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in nonprofit leadership, development, business development, partnerships, or revenue generation.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and revenue growth, including experience with corporate giving, individual donors, grants, or earned revenue models.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, budgets, and complex initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, communication, and presentation skills using a collaborative management style.
  • Familiarity and experience with CRM systems (Hubspot) and willingness to learn, take initiative to streamline and maximize CRM system use.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Proven ability to think entrepreneurially, take initiative, and build new systems or revenue streams from concept to execution.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about empowering Latino professionals, women, and leadership development in diverse organizations proven ability in handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with minimal direction, entrepreneurial, proactive spirit, like to build things.
  • Have experience working closely, presenting to and collaborating with senior leadership and C-suite executives.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills, with strong project management and execution skills.
  • Experience using technology platforms to support fundraising, partnerships, and relationship management,including Microsoft Office, CRM and donor databases, online fundraising platforms, and social media; comfort leveraging data and digital tools to drive results.
  • Travel nationally as needed, up to 40%.
