Position: Make-Ready Auto Detailer

We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven, detail-oriented Make-Ready Auto Detailer. This position is responsible for preparing and detailing vehicles for delivery to ensure every customer drives off the lot with a vehicle that looks and feels brand new.


Key Responsibilities
  • Train and assist fellow make-ready and detail technicians

  • Maintain inventory and order necessary make-ready supplies

  • Serve as liaison between department staff and Sales Managers to streamline vehicle prep for new and pre-owned cars

  • Perform full vehicle detailing to dealership standards

  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies on customer vehicle care and handling

  • Report any vehicle damage to Service for timely claim filing (within 24 hours)

  • Conduct final quality inspections on all vehicles before they reach the front line

  • Coordinate with Sales and Service to ensure timely, accurate vehicle deliveries

  • Participate in regular department meetings


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1-3 months of relevant experience preferred

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills


Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms

  • Occasionally required to use manual dexterity, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

  • Must occasionally lift/move up to 10 lbs

  • Visual requirements include close and distance vision, color recognition, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
