What You’ll Do

As a Technical Sales Representative, you’ll take ownership of your region and play a key role in driving growth and customer success.


Sales & Business Development

  • Grow and maximize sales within your territory while aligning with company goals
  • Identify new opportunities and create actionable plans to expand business
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Introduce new products and innovations to existing accounts
  • Build strong, lasting relationships across all levels of customer organizations

Customer Support & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, technical questions, and concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams (production, lab, technical service) to deliver solutions
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally

Territory Management

  • Plan and organize your territory for maximum efficiency and impact
  • Manage budgets, travel, and sales activities strategically
  • Execute technical seminars, customer visits, and growth initiatives
  • This position is remote; however, candidates must reside in or near Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Reporting & Insights

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer usage
  • Provide regular reports, forecasts, and updates to leadership
  • Contribute valuable insights to help shape company strategy

Work Environment

  • This is a hands-on, field-driven role where no two days are the same
  • You’ll work from a home office while traveling extensively throughout your territory, including customer sites and industrial environments
  • Exposure to manufacturing and foundry environments
  • Use of safety equipment (PPE required on-site)
  • Physical activity including walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Knowledge of foundry and metal casting processes required; prior experience selling to the foundry, metalworking, or industrial chemicals industries is a strong plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (SAP/Salesforce a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license required
