Freshly Printed: The Role You Have Been Looking For

As the Halm Jet Press Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring each project is produced accurately and to the highest quality standards. This position is responsible for carefully reviewing job tickets, selecting the correct paper weight, mixing ink as needed, and maintaining precise image quality and registration throughout the production process. You will also help maintain a clean, organized workspace to support efficiency, teamwork, and overall production success.

From Set up to Finish: Your Role in the Process

  • Follow all established company and departmental policies, procedures, and production standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Promptly report any unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel
  • Comply with all safety guidelines and always demonstrate safe work practices
  • Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Carefully follow written instructions on the job ticket to meet customer requirements and support on-time delivery
  • Enter data into computer systems to accurately record time, materials, and costs.

The Fine Print: What You Need to Succeed

  • High school diploma or equivalent; one to two years of recent related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Good mathematical skills to compute percentages, weights, and measurements
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic computer skills to enter data for time, materials, and costs
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and standing activities for the entirety of the shift
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to participate in shift rotations

Your Production Schedule:

  • Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Overtime may be required
