Job description

Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Redwood City, California (On-site 35 days per week)
Salary: $150,000$200,000 base (will consider up to $230,000 for exceptional candidates)
Openings: 5
Hiring Urgency: Offers must be made within one week of application

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, build, and optimize distributed systems for warehousing, robotics, e-commerce, or logistics platforms.
  • Work hands-on with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and relational databases (SQL).
  • Lead system design, debugging, and performance optimization projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for real-time infrastructure.
  • Prefer candidates with background in real-time systems or robotics platforms.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in distributed systems development.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of: Erlang, Elixir, Gleam, Pony, Akka (Scala), or Haskell.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
  • Excellent system design and optimization skills.
  • Must be eligible and willing to work on-site 35 days/week in Redwood City, CA.
