As a Remote Tax Professional, you'll serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced tax training to help you be successful. What you'll do Conduct tax interviews with clients and support DIY online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email). Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.

Collaborate with leaders and peers to coordinate remote work and impact results. Grow your tax expertise over time. What you'll bring Experience completing individual tax returns.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Access to high-speed, reliable internet. Experience with technology (MS Teams and Outlook).

Ability to communicate complex tax situations concisely via phone, email, and chat to inspire client confidence. Experience using effective customer service techniques. Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent. High school diploma or higher; ongoing continuing education and compliance with IRS and state requirements. Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax season.
