Job description

We Rock The Spectrum Kids Gym Jackson, is a small business in Jackson, TN. We are inclusive, social, supportive and our goal is to Provide support and build relationships with the families who come in to play. We provide a safe and nurturing ALL INCLUSIVE environment for kids to come and play..

Our outstanding team of committed coaches, are the key component to make our gyms success. Supervision to young children, 1 and up with We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym is provided during Open play. Our coaches will use our Mind Body Software, have full knowledge of all services and prices, and understand each piece of equipment in the gym and know what to recommend when seeing a child having difficulty.

Part time positions require availability to work on the weekends. Our business hours are 7 days a week from 9:00am-7:00pm Mon-Sat. and Sun. 1:00-6:00pm.

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm to work with All children, with All abilities
  • (We are here to train you if we feel you will be great in the position)
  • Previous experiences working with children (preferable children with special needs and without)
  • High School diploma or enrollment in a 3rd or 4th year
  • Pre-Employment Screening, (Background check, CPR certification)

Additional Information

  • Must supervise children’s activities at all times (For Break Time/Camps)
  • Perform housework related to child care, including cleaning up after meals in the party room, tidying play areas, and taking out the trash, wiping down counter tops and vacuuming
  • Part time positions require availability on weekends
  • Schedules may change frequently to meet the needs of our customers
  • Coaches may work with children with aggressive behaviors, such as biting, scratching, pulling hair, hitting, and/or kicking. We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym will provide training as need be to manage challenging behaviors
  • Coaches must sign Employment Confidentiality Agreement upon employment
