Job description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Equipment Technician, who loves fitness. This is a fun and fast paced full-time role, so our candidate is hands on, energetic team player who's as comfortable working around the clang of a barbell during operating hours as they are making repairs and completing maintenance in support of our members' experience across our gyms. You'll maintain Gold's Gym fitness equipment , ensuring the equipment is kept up to our Gold's Gym standard. You'll play an integral part of bringing our mission and vision to life.


  • Visit assigned clubs according to a weekly schedule to perform preventative maintenance on our fitness equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure the condition of equipment is kept to our Gold's Gym standard.
  • Perform repairs on our fitness equipment.
  • Create, update, and complete work orders that document your equipment diagnosis, parts orders, maintenance, and repair actions in our computerized maintenance management system.
  • Purchase needed parts through our approved vendors.
  • Perform all other non-maintenance duties as needed or provided by your manager.
