Job description

Mancan is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Assemblers in the Curtain Department for a company in Dalton, OH. If you enjoy assembling things, have good manual dexterity, and are comfortable working with your hands, we invite you to apply.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Assembling Rolling Doors:** Efficiently assemble rolling doors according to specified guidelines.
2. **Sliding Slats Together:** Align and connect sliding slats to create the desired product.
3. **Riveting Locks On:** Utilize a rivet gun to secure locks onto assembled doors.
4. **Rolling Curtain Up and Wrapping for Shipping:** Prepare finished products for shipping by rolling up the curtain and ensuring proper wrapping.
5. **Physical Requirements:** Must be able to bend, twist, and lift objects weighing between 50-75lbs.
6. **Read Tape Measure:** Accurately read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.
7. **Bill Reading and Slate Counting:** Follow instructions from a bill of materials and count out slats as required for assembly.
8. **Collaborative Teamwork:** Be a team player and assist in other departments as needed.
9. **Testing Requirements:** Candidates will need to pass a tape measure test and a basic math test.
10. **Tool Usage:** Perform repetitious work using a drill and rivet gun.
11. **Background Check and Drug Test:** Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug test.
**Qualifications:**
- Experience in assembly or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely.

- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 5a - 3:30p
**Salary:** $18.00 per hour
