Raytheon Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities, Life‑Cycle Engineering, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Technical Trainer to provide world‑class Patriot training around the globe in support of the operational warfighter and all Patriot partners within the Air Defense community. The Patriot Operations Technical Instructor/Writer is responsible for researching subject‑specific information, including engineering data, design specifications, Software Investigation Reports, and Missile Command Continuation Group reports. They will prepare this information for lesson plans and develop the lesson plans for future instruction. During the development phase, the writer collaborates with Raytheon engineers and customer representatives to apply appropriate instructional design principles. As an instructor, this individual is also responsible for conducting the course, including administering examinations.

The Operations Technical Instructor/Writer will provide operational Patriot instruction to U.S. and international customers on the Post Deployment Build Software. During course preparation, they will interface with engineers and other technical personnel to perform critical training task analysis and validate supporting documentation.

What You Will Do

  • Research subject‑specific data, including engineering data, design specifications, Software Investigation Reports, and Missile Command Continuation Group reports.

  • Prepare data for lesson plans and develop lesson plans for future instruction.

  • Provide operational Patriot instruction to U.S. and international customers on Post Deployment Build Software.

  • Travel domestically and internationally 50%–75% annually.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.

  • Operational experience with Air Defense Fire Control systems and command-and-control shelters or elements.

  • Completion of one of the following U.S. Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training courses: Army Patriot Enhanced Operator/Maintainer (14E), Air Defense Artillery Officer (14A), Air and Missile Defense Tactician (140E/140K), or Patriot Launcher Operator/Maintainer (14T) with Patriot Master Gunner certification.

  • Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience as an instructor of the Patriot System. 

  • Experience writing and developing training lesson plans. 

  • Knowledgeable with ICC and Fire Unit Operations.

  • Patriot Master Gunner or Top Gun graduate. 

  • Knowledgeable on organizational maintenance and remove and replace techniques.

  • Working knowledge of the Operations of the RT3 Lab, and SGG Scripting Techniques

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
