Responsibilities

  • Teach private lessons & group rehearsals for guitar students (all levels)

  • Use the School of Rock Methodโ„ข, books, and Method App to guide instruction

  • Develop engaging lesson plans that challenge and inspire students

  • Communicate with parents on progress through notes & assignments

  • Prepare students for live performances on stage

  • Support rehearsals and upkeep of lesson facilities

  • Model energy, professionalism, and stage presence

Qualifications

  • 2+ years teaching and/or professional performance experience

  • Skilled guitarist across multiple genres (rock, pop, metal, etc.)

  • Strong music theory knowledge and curriculum design experience

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills

  • Positive, patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about teaching

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; music degree preferred
