Xpressdocs is looking for a Guillotine Cutting Machine Operator to be responsible for operating and maintaining cutting machines to produce high-quality, accurate products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of guillotine cutting processes and equipment

In this position, you will:

  • Set up and operate guillotine cutting machines to cut printed materials according to job specifications
  • Read and interpret job tickets, cutting orders, and production layouts
  • Ensure accuracy of cuts by measuring, aligning, and verifying materials before and after cutting
  • Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues to maintenance staff
  • Receive, identify, and organize materials as needed for production workflow
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards
  • Track production output and complete required documentation or logs
  • Collaborate with press, bindery, and finishing teams to ensure efficient job flow
  • Willingness to cross-train and assist in operating other equipment to support team coverage and operational efficiency.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:
