    Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) is a diverse and student-centered university dedicated to academic excellence, access, and service for the public good.     The AACSB Accredited School of Business (SCOB) invites applications for Adjunct Instructors to teach across its multiple disciplines in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. The School offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (multiple concentrations) as well as a newly launched Bachelor of Science in Energy And Utility Leadership. Graduate Programs include our STEM Master of Business Administration, as well as two STEM Master of Science programs in Business Analytics and Financial Risk Management. The School also offers a Doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis on resiliency studies.
    The SCOB is housed in a brand-new 60,000 Sq. Ft. building with a Financial Markets Lab and a Bloomberg Lab. A focus on sustainability, professional development of students and business community engagement are woven throughout its programs.
    Opportunity/Brief Description of Responsibilities
    • Opportunity to teach up to two undergraduate and or graduate courses per fall and spring semester.
    • Potential for winter intersession or summer teaching.
    • Alternatives available to teach in either in traditional classroom format or using alternative delivery systems.
    • Adjuncts may join the School's Adjunct Faculty Council, where they may have a voice in leadership of the School and also discuss strengthening the adjunct faculty community. This reflects the School's initiative to acknowledge the fine work of our adjunct community and provide support for their teaching, scholarship and service.

    Required Qualifications
    • Masters Degree in the area of teaching.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • A.B.D., Ph.D., D.B.A. or longitudinal professional experience in the area of teaching.
