Job description

Overview

As a Mountain Sports School Sales Agent, you’ll be the go-to resource for guests looking to elevate their ski and snowboard experience at Big Sky Resort. From first-timers to lifelong skiers, you’ll help guests of all ages find the right lesson and lift access, while creating a welcoming and efficient front-line experience. This is a guest-facing, fast-paced role ideal for a friendly communicator who thrives on making each guest feel informed and excited to hit the slopes.


Responsibilities
  • Build expert-level knowledge of Big Sky Resort and the Mountain Sports School to confidently guide guests toward the right lesson options
  • Accurately process lesson and lift ticket sales while capturing guest information and maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while juggling high volumes of in-person interactions
  • Keep the sales desk area clean, organized, and ready for the day’s traffic
  • Provide friendly and personalized attention to every guest—ensuring they leave with all the information (and stoke!) they need

Qualifications
  • Previous customer service and/or resort experience preferred
  • Experience with outdoor activities or recreational sales is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Confident with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled at prioritizing and staying calm during busy times
  • Outgoing, approachable, and genuinely excited to talk about skiing and riding
  • Familiarity with RTP | One Resort software is a plus
