Schedule: Full-time. Open availability required, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
Position Overview
The Guest Experience Ambassador serves as one of the first points of contact for visitors arriving at
Kualoa Ranch and plays an important role in shaping the overall guest experience.
This position requires individuals who enjoy engaging with people, communicating clearly, and helping
guests navigate their visit with ease. Ambassadors help ensure that guests feel welcomed, informed,
and supported throughout their time on property.
Successful team members bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire
to help others while representing Kualoa Ranch with professionalism and the spirit of aloha.
Team members in this role take pride in helping guests have a smooth and memorable visit while
contributing to an organized and welcoming environment for everyone on property.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Welcome and engage guests with warmth, professionalism, and the spirit of aloha.
  • Assist guests with tour check-in and provide accurate information regarding tours, schedules, availability, pricing, and policies.
  • Answer questions about ranch activities, tour requirements, procedures, and general property information.
  • Provide directions and guidance to help guests move easily throughout the property.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure guest needs are communicated and addressed efficiently.
  • Assist in resolving guest concerns or unexpected issues in a calm, courteous, and solution-focused manner.
  • Maintain awareness of guest flow and support an organized and efficient front-of-house environment.
  • Represent Kualoa Ranch professionally while contributing to a positive and cooperative team atmosphere.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple guest interactions simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
  • Knowledge of Kualoa Ranch and the local area is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Hawaiian culture and traditions is preferred.
  • Bilingual ability in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
