Who we are: Uptown Cheapskate is a retail fashion exchange selling everything from GUCCI to GAP. Our target audience is young adults and we have a wide selection of brands and styles.
Role: Fashion Shift Lead/ Keyholder, flexible on-site role. This role supports daily store operations, including supervising team members, opening and closing procedures, and ensuring an organized, welcoming sales floor. The Keyholder role helps oversee the buying process by evaluating incoming clothing and accessories, pricing items, and maintaining inventory standards aligned with brand guidelines.
Day-to-day tasks include: Buying, Opening & Closing procedures, Assisting staff, providing excellent customer service, assisting with visual merchandising, and helping resolve concerns. The role also involves monitoring sales performance, supporting promotional activities, and partnering with store leadership to maintain a safe, inclusive, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience in retail or resale fashion is a must! High level of customer service, cash handling, and store operations.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and support team members in a diverse, inclusive environment.
  • Interest in fashion trends and sustainable resale practices, with an eye for quality, style, and brand recognition.
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Comfort with basic technology and point-of-sale systems; willingness to learn store-specific software.
  • Availability days, evenings, weekends, & holidays as needed
