 TMA DRIVER/GUARDRAIL TECH Position Summary

This work is physically demanding and you will be working in extreme outdoor climates & conditions. You are not just a TMA driver, that is only a small part of this job, you are a guardrail laborer first and foremost. If you are able to meet the demands, please continue. 


 The TMA Driver operates a truck mounted attenuator vehicle in support of roadway maintenance and traffic control operations. The Guardrail Technician installs, repairs, and maintains highway guardrail systems and related roadway safety devices. Responsibilities • Safely operate TMA trucks • Assist with lane closures and traffic control • Perform daily vehicle inspections • Maintain communication with supervisors and crews • Follow DOT and company safety standards • Install and repair guardrail systems • Operate hand and power tools • Load and unload materials • Read work orders and measurements • Maintain safe work zones • Operate other company vehicles and trailers as needed   

Requirements:

Requirements • Valid Drivers License Required (CDL preferred but not required) • Clean driving record • Experience in traffic control or roadway work preferred • Ability to work nights and overtime as needed • Construction or highway maintenance experience preferred • Ability to work outdoors year-round • Ability to travel locally as needed
