Job Summary: Trust is the ultimate hurdle in deploying autonomous systems. R2 Technologies is looking for an AI Trust & Guardrail Engineer to ensure our intelligent agents operate safely, ethically, and securely. You will build the definitive guardrails that prevent autonomous systems from executing destructive commands, leaking Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or hallucinating critical data, ensuring that all our AI deployments meet strict regulatory and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement robust semantic routing and filtering systems to intercept, evaluate, and block toxic, biased, or non-compliant LLM inputs and outputs.
  • Deploy and configure framework-level safety layers like NeMo Guardrails or Llama Guard to constrain agentic behaviors and restrict unauthorized tool execution.
  • Develop automated red-teaming and prompt-injection testing frameworks to continuously probe production models for vulnerabilities.
  • Map AI system architectures against enterprise compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2), ensuring data privacy within RAG pipelines and model context windows.
  • Build audit trails and transparency logs that explain AI decision-making processes for business stakeholders and compliance audits.
  • Actively utilize AI-assisted coding tools to generate test cases, evaluate edge-case scenarios, and script automated compliance checks.

Qualifications: * Up to 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Application Security, AI/ML Engineering, or Risk & Compliance tech.
  • Deep understanding of LLM vulnerabilities (e.g., prompt injection, jailbreaking, data exfiltration) and mitigation strategies.
