As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and provide welcoming customer service. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and critical infrastructure areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor and report access-control concerns, visitor activity, alarm conditions, and other security-related incidents in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
