AlphaBEST Education - Before/After School Group Leader 2026-2027 School year
Schedule: M-F 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (hours may vary) NO WEEKENDS!!!
Location: 85742,85755
We're looking for an early learning professional who:
  • Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
  • Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
  • Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:
  • Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Keep the space clean and organized
  • Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
  • Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

This role is ideal for students studying:

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
  • 18+ years old and six months of verifiable childcare experience is preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Must be registered (or become registered) and have full clearance from the AZ childcare licensing agency
  • Perferred one year child care experience in classroom setting.
