About the role
HealthFitness is seeking an enthusiastic and motivating general Group Exercise Instructor and/or Aquatic Fitness Instructor to lead a variety of energizing group fitness and/or water-based exercise classes in Rochester Hills, MI.
Whether you're instructing participants through a dynamic studio workout or guiding a fun, results-driven aquatic class, you'll play a key role in helping members achieve their health and wellness goals. We offer a flexible working schedule during operating hours. We are currently looking for part-time (2 hours per week) availability.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as aquatic fitness (aquacize), dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $25/hr - $35/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
