Job description

About the role
Complimentary fitness center membership!
This is a position teaching approximately 1-5 classes per week, depending on scheduling.
We are currently looking for instructors to teach early mornings at 6AM and we are looking for substitute/as-needed instructors to teach flexible hours throughout the week (hours depends on demand and scheduling needs) at the Advocate Good Shepherd Club, managed by HealthFitness in Barrington, IL.
In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as strength training, cardio, pump, HIIT, boot camp, and circuit.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
  • Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
  • Flu vaccination required during the Fall season.

Compensation: $24/class -$35/class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
