Description
Belstra Milling Company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a
Facility and Groundskeeping Technician. Belstra is committed to its core values of Quality,

desires. The Facility and Groundskeeping Technician is responsible for servicing and maintaining
clean, safe, and functional company facilities across multiple locations, including feed mills,
administrative offices, maintenance shops, distribution facilities, and other company-owned
buildings. This position performs light maintenance, grounds upkeep, and facility support tasks
to ensure a professional appearance and safe working environment for employees. In addition,
this position must also work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and
federal policies, laws, and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
  • Service and maintain, light fixtures, overhead doors, and other general building fixtures.
  • Complete basic cleaning, painting, touch-up work, and facility upkeep projects.
  • Service and maintain HVAC system, air filters and dust collection across multiple sites
  • General plumbing and light construction duties
  • Fabrication of handrails, guardrails, and other safety barrier
  • Maintain building entrances, sidewalks, and parking areas with weed spraying, exterior rodent control, snow removal and salting during winter months
  • Safely operate housekeeping tools, ladders, lifts, vacuums, sprayers and other assigned equipment in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements
Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to):
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment
  • Must be able to wear a tight-fitting respirator, pass fit test and remain clean shaven

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and minor building repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
  • Valid driver license with acceptable driving record preferred.
