Job Summary
We are seeking a Launch Vehicle Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Systems Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support requirements development and verification of ground support equipment systems for launch vehicle operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace systems engineering and experience working with requirements and verifications for ground support equipment, including FMEA/Fishbones, Test Like You Fly development, and working with the GSE developers.
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) with minimum 10 years' experience in Aerospace Systems
  • Proven experience in developing Aerospace ground support equipment systems, either mechanical (MGSE) or electrical (EGSE)
  • Knowledge of launch vehicle operations and industry standards
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test ground support equipment system requirements and verification for launch vehicle operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional GSE design teams to ensure the proper flow and compliance of GSE systems
  • Conduct system analysis including FMEA/Fishbones
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Provide technical support during the integration
  • Participate in design reviews and project meetings
