Compensation:
$22 per hour
The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and generous PTO for full-time roles.
Anticipated Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 9pm - 7am
About The Role:
As a Ground Operations Lead at Veho, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities. You will be at the forefront of daily interactions with cross-functional teams, orchestrating efforts to maintain safety standards while achieving operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a shared shift to guarantee successful launches and sorts, in collaboration with both the Veho team and our valued driver partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands quick thinking and physical agility, embracing the challenge of physically tasking work with enthusiasm and resilience.
  • Quickly navigate technology platforms to manage operational changes, re-routes, and other logistical challenges with ease and efficiency.
  • Assess operational needs swiftly and work cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations, prioritizing safety, and driving success.
  • Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck with skill and precision, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials as needed.
  • Execute with a focus on customer service, providing high levels of support and assistance to our crowd-sourced driver partners and internal teams.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment that is, at times, physically tasking
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively lead a shift.
  • Stand for extended periods, move boxes up and down, bend, and frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs, ensuring physical readiness for the demands of the role.

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.
  • Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.
  • Proficiency in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
  • Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs.
