You will be part of a team that creates an environment where excellence is the norm and where we move fast and stay resilient to adapt to constant change.
This role is not about following a polished playbook; it is about navigating ambiguity and making smart decisions with imperfect information. You will need to take ownership, stay adaptable, and build with both urgency and care. If you are energized by the messy reality of doing big things and motivated by real-world impact, this is where you will grow.
Rate of Pay: $118,000 to $144,000 per year
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.
What you'll do
  • Leverage operational standard processes, knowledge of traffic behavior, and feedback from Uber's external vendors to help build best-in-class operations plans.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of your portfolio, including venue performance, operational complexity, industry trends, and key decision-makers.
  • Manage the deployment of geo-specific tooling to help optimize pickups, dropoffs, dispatches, and vehicle routing.
  • Work with partners in Marketplace and City Performance to develop venue-specific incentive strategies to strengthen supply positioning during high-demand periods.
  • Analyze portfolio health regularly and provide updates on progress and degradation, along with clear plans on actions being taken to improve results.
  • Collaborate with partners across Product, Marketplace, Public Safety, Policy, Marketing, Local Ops, and BD to advance Uber's collective interests at events.
  • Strike the right balance between advocacy and diplomacy to form strong relationships with clients, partners, and key venue operators.
  • Identify and communicate potential product improvements that would reduce friction for users at events and venues.
  • Surface consulting opportunities to monetize Uber's tech, data, and operational competence.
  • Occasionally, work on-site performing venue audits, launching new products, and managing on-the-ground operations at priority events and venues.
  • May telecommute.

Basic Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a business-related occupation.
  • Position requires:
    • Data Analysis: data wrangling, transforming datasets, identifying trends/patterns, building dashboards, and turning data into actionable insights (Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI);
    • Statistical Analysis: designing experiments to test hypothesis and operational theories, calculating statistical probabilities, and building models to validate assumptions and forecast outcomes (Python or R);
    • Business Acumen: linking data insights to business strategy, analyzing marketplace behavior, and interpreting P&L and financial trends using financial modeling (Excel, Tableau, or Google Analytics);
    • Coding: automating workflows, building and maintaining data pipelines, and developing dashboards (Jupyter Notebook, R, Python, or SQL);
    • Business Intelligence: designing dashboards, enabling self-service analytics, crafting executive reports, and monitoring operational metrics (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio, or SQL-based reporting); and
