Site Maintenance Technician

What you will do:

The Maintenance Technician performs facility, equipment, and ground maintenance in support of the engineering department.

Here's a day in the life:

  • Performs the following maintenance functions but not limited to:

  • Painting and building and/or ground maintenance.

  • Complies with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

  • Able to use carpentry, plumbing, flooring, pipe insulation, and concrete work as needed

  • Performs all other duties as assigned as needed

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public

  • Communicate effectively

  • Act as a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company

  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrate excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

  • 1 to 3 years related training and/or experience is preferred. An associate's degree or trade school certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting

  • Standing/and or walking

  • Lifting 55 lbs.

  • Vision for machine or computer operations

  • Hearing
