Job description

Doggie Style Pets is an independent pet store/grooming salon with a fast growing team. We have opportunities across Center City Philadelphia, as well as Chestnut Hill, Bala Cynwyd, and Cinnaminson, NJ. Our wages are competitive and we have great benefits.

$1,500 sign on bonus for full time groomers! Bonus is given out on a quarterly basis.

We also take pride in our partnership with our local rescue, ACCT. Through our adoption program, our associates help homeless dogs find their humans.

What we offer:

Competitive Commission Rate - 55% commission for 2+ years of experience with the chance to advance to Master Groomer at higher rate (57% which goes to 60% while actively training an apprentice). We are a W4 employer.

Free Pet Food - Monthly free pet food for full time groomers

Flexible Scheduling - We offer flex weekends too

Healthcare Reimbursement - We reimburse half of your monthly premium up to $250

Paid Time Off - 2 weeks PTO for sickness or vacation

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as a groomer (1+ will require trial groom before hiring)
  • Animal handling/care required
  • Weekend availability
  • Professional and friendly with customers and their dogs
  • Comfortable using grooming scheduling applications
