Description
As a Store Supervisor, you'll lead the store during your shift, especially at the front end delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You'll serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) whenever the Store Manager or Assistant Manager are off, taking full responsibility for staffing, standards, and customer satisfaction.
Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 hourly

What You'll Do
  • Lead Your Team & Shift: Supervise all employees and store operations for your shift maintain safety, security, and a high-energy environment
  • Model Cashier Duties: Jump into Lead Cashier tasks when needed
  • Serve as MOD: Take command in leaders' absence, overseeing staffing, tasks, and shift priorities
  • Walk the Store: Ensure departments are fully stocked, clean, fresh, and delivering excellent service
  • Drive Standards: Execute daily deliverables (checklist, merchandising, cleanliness)
  • Host Huddles: Run shift meetings to set priorities, boost morale, and align the team
  • Staff Management: Monitor breaks, dress code, schedules, and ensure staff presence where needed
  • Execute Campaigns: Support marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Close the Store: Handle end-of-day responsibilities when required
  • Resolve Issues: Use calm, professional judgment in customer and staff matters
  • Lead by Example: Set the bar for service, attitude, and team behavior
  • Maintain Grounds: Keep parking lot clean and carts organized
  • Oversee Maintenance: Guide the maintenance team on cleanliness and safety
  • Report & Respond: Document daily needs and escalate equipment issues
  • Coach Future Leaders: Train and mentor Lead Cashiers and cashiers
  • Support the Team: Fill gaps wherever necessary to maintain standards

What You Bring
Education & Training:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of Mother's Market's Manager-On-Duty training

Experience & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Lead Cashier, Department Supervisor, or equivalent
  • Calm and confident decision-maker in customer/staff interactions
  • Strong leadership, organization, and time-management abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using Word, Excel, Outlook, POS systems
  • Excellent math skills and the ability to use data to drive staffing and sales

Physical & Schedule Requirements
  • Lift/move grocery and bulk items up to 50 lbs. (up to 100 times/day)
  • Handle carts, dollies, and electric pallet jacks
  • Stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently
  • Flexibility to work various shifts mornings, evenings, weekends as needed
