We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager – Grocery Department to help oversee daily department operations, support team development, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This position works closely with the Grocery Manager to maintain department standards, drive sales, and ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily operation of the Grocery Department
  • Support staffing, scheduling, training, and team development
  • Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, organized, and properly merchandised
  • Monitor product quality, freshness, rotation, and inventory levels
  • Assist with ordering, inventory management, and shrink control
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
  • Support department sales and operational goals

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires active involvement in daily department operations. The Assistant Manager is expected to lead by example and assist with stocking, merchandising, customer service, and other department functions as needed. As part of your role, you may be required to perform additional duties or tasks assigned by management or the company. Flexibility and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities are essential expectations of this position.
