Grocery Stocker Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Grocery Stocker to support the daily operations of our store by keeping shelves properly stocked, organized, clean, and ready for customers. This position includes replenishing merchandise, rotating products for freshness, organizing backstock, checking labels and product condition, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining attractive and well-organized displays throughout the sales floor. The Grocery Stocker will also support general store operations and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient shopping environment.

Requirements
Grocery Stocker Qualifications:
  • Must be available to work a full-time schedule, primarily evening shifts typically between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Previous experience as a Grocery Stocker, Store Stocker, Shelf Stocker, Retail Stocker, Grocery Clerk, Stock Associate, Merchandising Associate, or similar retail position preferred.
  • Ability to stock and replenish shelves accurately while following established product placement and display standards.
  • Ability to rotate products, monitor freshness, check expiration dates, and maintain proper product organization.
  • Able to identify damaged, missing, incorrectly labeled, or low-stock products and report concerns to the appropriate manager.
  • Willingness to organize backstock, storage areas, carts, and stocking equipment throughout the shift.
  • Ability to maintain shelves, displays, sales-floor areas, and backstock areas clean, organized, and customer-ready.
  • Able to work efficiently and independently while maintaining attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to follow established safety and operational procedures.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and remain physically active for extended periods.
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to assist with inventory counts and other store-support duties as needed.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
