Asian Family Market has been a cornerstone of the Pacific Northwest Asian community for over a decade, with four locations across the region. We're hiring Grocery Managers for both our Bellevue and Tukwila locations — leading the dry grocery department, developing a team, and keeping our shelves sharp and our customers coming back.


This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in a well-run department. You'll manage a team of 10–15 own your section's numbers, and be a key part of the store's overall operation.


What you'll do

Lead and develop a team of 10–15 grocery department employees

Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotation of dry grocery products

Maintain merchandising standards to drive sales and minimize shrink

Monitor inventory and coordinate with buyers on product assortment and promotions

Ensure food safety and compliance standards are consistently met

Communicate effectively with multilingual staff, vendors, and customers

Partner with store management on department performance and goals


What we're looking for

2+ years of supervisory or department management experience in grocery, retail, or food service

Fluent in English plus at least one of: Mandarin or Vietnamese

Strong knowledge of grocery operations — ordering, inventory, merchandising

A team builder who leads by example and holds people accountable

Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on execution

Familiarity with Asian grocery products and customer preferences is a strong plus
