Job description

Purpose: Fabricates products such as hatches, frames, doors, and windows; uses steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Essential Functions:
  • Can include: bending, flattening, welding, cutting, shearing, straightening, grinding, sanding, routering, fitting, inspecting, and assembling.
  • Ability to show up everyday and adhere to the attendance policy.
  • Participate in team goals for revenue forecast.
  • Complete work orders within the allotted time.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Requires high school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years welding and/or fabrication experience, preferably MIG.
  • Requires some higher education or vocational training specializing in welding and fabrication
  • Can use/read a tape measure; use general construction tools, such as grinder, router, sander
  • Intermediate knowledge of fabrication and able to work on own, under supervision
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints
  • Good mechanical skills and math skills, including decimals and fractions
  • Skills with lathe and end mill a plus

5A to 3:30P Mon to Thursday with OT available on Friday
40 hours week plus overtime
