Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Breakthrough is seeking a Senior Client Integrations Specialist to join our growing Client Connectivity & Integrations team. In this role, you will lead complex client implementations across Breakthrough's platform, serving as a trusted delivery and technical leader for our clients and internal stakeholders. You will own execution across multiple concurrent engagements, guide high-stakes client conversations, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful, high-quality implementations.
Role Location: Green Bay, WI (preferred) or US - Midwest. May consider hybrid/remote work location depending on relevancy of experience. For candidates not in the Green Bay, WI area, monthly visits to Green Bay plus additional trips may be required as business needs dictate. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
  • Client Implementations
    • Lead multiple concurrent Tier 2 and Tier 3 implementations across all Breakthrough products.
    • Lead higher-complexity and higher-risk engagements.
    • Begin leading components of Tier 1 implementations as a proving ground for Architect readiness, partnering closely with Architects as needed.
    • Serve as the primary implementation owner, accountable for timelines, deliverables, and execution quality.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for client implementation projects.
    • Lead weekly client meetings, providing clear updates, next steps, and risk management.
    • Build and maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, requirements, and action tracking.
    • Guide clients through the implementation process to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and strong early value realization.
    • Ability to provide occasional after-hours or weekend support during client go-lives and hypercare to ensure successful onboarding and issue resolution.
  • Technical Integration & Platform Configuration
    • Execute platform operational work, focusing primarily on complex scenarios and escalations.
    • Lead and support technical integrations and data connectivity efforts (ex: API, SFTP, AS2, cloud storage transfer) alongside senior team members.
    • Provide deep technical guidance on integrations, data flows, and platform configurations.
    • Support advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for client issues.
    • Manage and execute system configurations within our platform, ensuring that client-specific settings and integrations are precisely configured.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Drive cross-functional execution across Technology, Account Management, and external partners.
    • Translate technical complexity into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams and clients.
    • Support sales enablement efforts by contributing technical insight and implementation scoping to inform client buying decisions.
    • Communicate risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly to maintain alignment across teams.
  • Mentorship & Process Improvement
    • Mentor and support Client Integration Specialists and Leads, providing guidance on execution, communication, and technical problem-solving.
    • Identify and drive improvements to implementation processes, tools, and documentation.
    • Share best practices and patterns to improve team consistency, scalability, and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain/Logistics or Information Technology
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in client implementations, integrations, logistics, supply chain, or transportation
  • 4+ years of customer-facing experience
  • Proven experience leading complex client-facing implementations
  • Strong understanding of technical integrations, data flows, and platform operations
  • Prior experience with TMS systems is a plus
  • Prior experience in API, MFT, and EDI integrations is a plus

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 U.S. Venture's compensation range is specific to location and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case
