Our mission is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes healing and personal growth. We value diversity and strive to be a resource for individuals seeking mental health support. Our team is comprised of talented professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the community.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, enabling you to maintain a balanced lifestyle while delivering high-quality counseling services. You'll be working from home, which allows you to create a comfortable and effective workspace. At Green Oak Wellness, we utilize a combination of teletherapy and in-person sessions at our outpatient office, making it essential for you to be adaptable in your therapeutic approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
  • Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to facilitate their healing journey.
  • Utilize tools and methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Maintain accurate and timely client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops offered by Green Oak Wellness.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care and outcomes.
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies.
  • Manage client referrals and follow up on their engagement in therapeutic services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our focus is on providing tailored therapy that respects each client's unique background and experiences. A significant part of your role will be to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel empowered to share their stories and work collaboratively towards their goals.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a current Pennsylvania license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage clients.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage your time in a remote setting.
  • A personal commitment to ethics and professionalism in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Two or more years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • Prior experience with insurance credentialing is advantageous; however, Green Oak Wellness will assist in this process if necessary.
  • Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and a willingness to implement new approaches as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

Green Oak Wellness offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include a flexible schedule that enables a better work-life balance, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive team environment that encourages collaboration.

We believe in nurturing talent and providing pathways for professional growth. As part of our team, you’ll have access to ongoing training and development programs designed to enhance your skills and therapeutic practices. Opportunities for leadership roles and specialization can also arise as you build your career with us.
