Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments for clients to understand their mental health needs, history, and personal goals.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans informed by evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA standards, ensuring all client records are meticulously updated and securely stored to protect confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide holistic care and share insights on patient progress.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and peer review sessions, critical for enhancing therapeutic approaches and improving client outcomes.
  • Empower clients and their families with education about mental health conditions, treatment options, and local community resources that can aid in their recovery.
  • Stay informed on current research and advancements in mental health to continuously refine your practice and therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve assisting adults facing mental health issues related to trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will have the opportunity to create meaningful connections with diverse individuals, providing them with the tools and support they need to navigate their challenges. By tailoring interventions to the unique circumstances and backgrounds of each client, you will help them develop resilience, emotional stability, and improved mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • Strong foundation in solution-focused therapy techniques, with the capability to adapt interventions to meet individual client needs.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey complex information and foster trust with clients.
  • A passion for mental health advocacy and the capacity to engage with clients empathetically and collaboratively.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, aiding clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment, contributing positively to team dynamics and client care.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth delivery, trauma-informed care, and working with complex cases in a clinical setting will be viewed favorably. Prior experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, including participation in peer review and case consultations, is also advantageous.
