Job Title:
Grounds Maintenance Laborer
Location:
Springfield, VA
Working Hours:
Normal Work Hours - Monday - Friday (anticipate 40 per week). Subject to change based on training demands.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Full Scope Poly
• Must have a valid driver's license;
• Physically able to climb ladders and stairs;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
• Should have general knowledge of weed trimmers and mowers.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced Grounds Maintenance Laborer throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia.
Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Picking up debris and other trash around the site and prior to mowing;
• Operate lawn mowers and other grass cutting equipment;
• Trimming and edging of grass around trees, shrubs, mulched beds, poles, sidewalks, etc.;
• Mulching and Weeding of mulched beds;
• Cut/trim foliage and other required basic tree pruning as directed;
• Operating basic landscaping and other grounds equipment; and
• Performing other similar tasks as directed.
