Prepress Process Specialist (Packaging & Metal Decoration)

Join an innovative manufacturing team where your expertise will directly impact the production of high-quality printed packaging. We are seeking a detail-oriented Prepress Process Specialist who enjoys combining technical skills, creative problem-solving, and precision to deliver exceptional print-ready artwork in a fast-paced production environment.

In this role, you will prepare customer artwork for print production using industry-leading prepress software, ensuring files meet quality, color, and production standards. Responsibilities include reviewing and preflighting artwork, creating color separations, applying trapping, preparing press-ready files, producing digital proofs and printing plates, and performing quality checks to ensure accuracy. You will also operate plate imaging equipment, manage production priorities, and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of prepress experience, preferably in printing, packaging, or related manufacturing

  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Esko, Hybrid Software Solutions, or similar prepress workflow software strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of color separations, trapping, barcode creation, proofing, and press-ready file preparation

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities

  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in both office and production environments

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred
