Please Note: This is an in-person position located in our Corporate Office in Naples, Florida.

At America’s fastest growing tanning and fitness company, Zoom Tan, we are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Social Media Intern to support our marketing team in developing and maintaining a strong online presence. This internship provides hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, audience engagement, and digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, enjoys creating engaging content, and is eager to learn about brand marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
  • Help develop creative content such as graphics, short videos, reels, stories, and blog posts.
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages when appropriate.
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging social media best practices.
  • Support the development and maintenance of social media content calendars.
  • Assist in capturing photos and videos for social media campaigns and company events.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and follower growth.
  • Collaborate with team members on marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
  • Brainstorm new content ideas to increase audience engagement and brand awareness.
  • Manage brand ambassador program by recruiting new members to the team and making sure current members are submitting requirements on time.
  • Communicate with salons to get new content from current employees.
  • Send out monthly newsletter to salons including new content ideas and current trends.
  • What You Bring to the Team:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and current trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar design and editing tools.
  • Experience managing personal, school, or organizational social media accounts.
  • Basic photography, video editing, or graphic design skills.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and content performance metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

    Hourly rate: $15-$17
