Experienced Sign & Vinyl Installer

Full-Time | Competitive Pay Based on Experience
QC Signs & Graphics is seeking an experienced, full-time Sign Installer to join our growing team. We are looking for a professional, self-motivated team player who is committed to delivering excellence to our customers.
This position is responsible for executing, and overseeing installations from start to finish. The ideal candidate is confident working independently or leading a small crew, ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum job duties
  • Install channel letters, pan signs, vinyl graphics, and vehicle wraps to exacting standards
  • Perform basic electrical work on signage, including LED wiring and primary/secondary connections
  • Operate bucket truck (no CDL required), boom lifts, and scissor lifts as required
  • Safely operate lifts, scaffolding, ladders, and other installation equipment
  • Interpret drawings, layouts, and installation plans accurately
  • Complete site surveys, including taking measurements, photos, and gathering details for permitting and installation
  • Work independently on smaller projects and collaborate with a lead installer or crew on larger jobs
  • Assist in production at our facility as needed
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment, including bucket van/truck, and assist with warehouse organization
  • Accurately maintain electronic and paper job records
  • Document installations with photos and required reports
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members
  • Ensure jobs are completed correctly the first time and minimize callbacks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
  • Continuously learn new technologies, techniques, and industry best practices

Minimum qualifications

  • 3+ years of sign installation experience (channel letters, pan signs, vinyl, vehicle wraps)
  • Experience laying vinyl graphics
  • Basic electrical experience, including LED power supply wiring
  • Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and/or bucket trucks
  • Construction and power tool experience
  • Ability to read and understand floor plans and technical drawings
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small crew
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and professional communication
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
Preferred Qualifications

  • 3M, Avery, or AD certification (strongly preferred)
  • OSHA or electrical certification
  • Experience with 3M, Avery, or Oracal vinyl
  • Experience in both commercial signage and vehicle wraps
Physical Demands
  • Ability to climb ladders while lifting and installing signage
  • Willing and able to operate and work from a bucket truck
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
