Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile and experienced Sign Installer to join our team. As an Installer, youll play an essential role in getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it, whether its in the ground, on a wall, or hanging from a ceiling. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and capable of delivering high quality installations across a variety of environments. You will use a variety of tools to assemble, erect, and hang items, working with flat panel substrates, post & panel projects, and pressure-sensitive vinyl applications.
In this role, no two days are alike. Youll be in a fast-paced environment collaborating with sales and production teams, interacting directly with customers, and taking pride in seeing your work throughout the community.
Responsibilities:

  • Follow written instructions and layouts to accurately install a variety of signage including but not limited to, flat panel signs, post and panel systems, vinyl graphics, and ADA signageboth indoors and outdoors.
  • Perform advance site surveys to gather necessary information for accurate quoting, planning, and production.
  • Maintain an accurate, written schedule reflecting all installation commitments and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Proofread signs and conduct strict quality assurance to ensure accurate fulfillment of projects and high customer satisfaction.
  • Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, hydraulic lift equipment, hand tools, power equipment, and apply general construction methods.
  • Maintain strong lines of communication with team members and promptly relay project details to sales staff and clients. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance for customer interactions.
  • Adhere to all industry-standard safety practices, company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Maintain a clean driving record and safely operate company vehicles.
Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in sign installation.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/kneel for long periods, lift 50 or more pounds, and safely climb ladders/scaffolding. Fear of heights is not in your vocabulary.
  • Flexibility: Ability to lean over a waist-high table using back-and-forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to surfaces.
  • Environmental Adaptability: Comfort and ability to fulfill projects in wide temperature variances and exterior weather conditions.
  • Performance: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of vinyl graphics and general signage production.
  • Familiarity with the safe operation of power equipment and general construction tools.
Additional Details:
  • Compensation: Great pay based on experience, plus benefits!
  • Schedule: Full time (40 hours per week). Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Overtime is available.
