Job description

Fast-growing internet company needs an individual to design websites and interfaces for our applications. The position will play a large part in the development of company products, marketing assets, and the development of client websites. The selected candidate will play a critical role in defining the definition of our product line. We are seeking a motivated individual to enhance the visual presentation of our products while aggressively promoting improvement in image, consistency and usability. Marketing and advertising experience specific to internet GUI and talent assessing product usability is desired. 3+ years' experience with internet specific GUI design Demonstrate ability to successfully manage projects and provide accurate estimates Experience with marketing product lines and or defining corporate image Extensive working knowledge of digital graphic design, using both vector and raster formats Skills Required Ability to work at a very fast pace when necessary Ability to effectively communicate concepts and strategy using both web and print media Must be comfortable with the Microsoft Windows operating system Proficiency with common utilities like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator is ideal Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with respect to product development and enhancement Capacity to project accurate timelines and estimates Experience or a solid understanding of limitations with common markup languages like HTML, CSS, etc. Additional Skills Preferred Experience within the real estate or financial service industries Strong experience with Adobe CS 5+ Working knowledge of Final Cut or video production preferred Ability to produce presentations with PowerPoint is desired Previous involvement with template-driven website design Understanding of client-side and or server-side software development techniques/limitations Familiarity with bandwidth optimization concepts related to graphical design Generation of website designs for high-profile clients Generation of website designs for template-driven websites Product usability/consistency assessment and consultation to product development Generic graphic design for both print and digital media Projection of timelines and estimates for both internal and contract projects Regular participation in production meetings Education 4 year degree (BA) in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Creative Art equivalent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
