Our services include care coordination, clinical and pharmacy services, mental health, housing, and nutrition. 

Position Summary: 

The Graphic Designer develops visually compelling and brand aligned creative designs that strengthen marketing, communications, fundraising, and organizational initiatives. This role manages a steady flow of design requests, producing high quality digital and print assets while ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all platforms and programs. Working closely with marketing, communications, leadership, and external vendors, the designer supports campaigns, events, and agency-wide projects through thoughtful, strategic, and polished visual execution. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and brand-consistent designs that support marketing, communications, advertising, and organizational goals. This role collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to develop creative assets for print, digital, social media, web, presentations, and promotional materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position. It should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all required duties, responsibilities, and skills. 

  • Fulfill and organize marketing requests
  • Design and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print platforms 
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications 
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and leadership teams on campaigns and projects 
  • Prepare files for print production and coordinate with vendors as needed 
  • Edit and enhance photos, illustrations, and multimedia content 
  • Assist with website graphics and basic UI/UX design elements 
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Organize and update design files 
  • Design high-quality print and electronic collateral, including but not limited to brochures, handouts, presentations, newsletters, business cards, external facing forms, reports, video, capital campaign materials and other multimedia programs for all areas of the agency.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager on the creation and rollout of branded content
  • Aid with fundraising appeals, events, and digital fundraising
  • Ensure a cohesive brand identity across all digital platforms, including but not limited to: Damien.org, social networks, Google, HOLA, Underground, Café Oztara, and Connect to Cure.
  • Digitize and archive marketing materials from current and previous projects, such as flyers, business cards, sponsor packets, annual report, and more
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with senior leadership teams to inform and manage expectations
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or Marketing required. 
  • At least 2  years of professional graphic design experience required. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required. 
  • Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, or other design tools  required. 
  • Knowledge of print production and digital design standards required. 
  • Strong typography, layout, and color theory skills also required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Possess superior organizational and administrative skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Ability to work independently and achieve high standards of productivity, achieving deadlines, and with superior product results. Strong calendaring, organizational, and document management skills are required. Proactive approach to solving problems and communicating to leadership. Knowledge of office management systems, procedures, and office equipment required. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.

FLSA Status: Salaried, Full-time, Exempt               

Leader: Director of Marketing and Communications

Salary: $54,000 annually
