What you will be doing:

Design and deliver packaging across consumables and CPG categories, ensuring consistency across formats, sizes, and large SKU portfolios

Own packaging from concept through production with a strong focus on execution, accuracy, and production readiness

Lead versioning and adaptation across complex SKU assortments while maintaining brand consistency and speed-to-market

Apply expertise in dielines, color, materials, print methods, and vendor specifications to deliver high-quality results

Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, and Marketing teams

Partner with packaging structural engineers to align graphics with structure, materials, and manufacturing constraints

Develop scalable packaging systems, templates, and documentation to support efficiency and consistency

Manage vendor handoffs, ensuring final production meets design and quality standards

Provide direction to external agencies and production partners to maintain high-quality execution

Create high-fidelity mockups and conceptual layouts to support stakeholder alignment and production readiness

Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

What's needed: Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communications, or 

equivalent work experience 

5+ years of experience as a Packaging Graphic Designer in an in-house or corporate setting

Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual and production-ready packaging work with a focus on consumables or CPG

Experience working within scalable packaging systems

Proven ability to manage versioning across multiple SKUs and formats

Experience collaborating with packaging engineers and production partners

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

Experience working with external agencies

Working knowledge of generative AI tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting large-scale packaging rollouts in national retail environments

Familiarity with sustainable packaging materials

Experience building modular packaging systems

Strong understanding of typography and visual hierarchy

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
