Job description

Who We Are

Hi! We're Thinkingbox, the brief to built agency. Creating innovative digital, experiential, social, and content, we partner with leading brands across industries like sports, gaming, entertainment, and technology. We believe the hands that carefully craft the work should belong to the minds that dreamed it. So while others pass the buck, we're already building. Because our thinkers are also the makers. Culture is at the heart of who we are, and our offices are hubs of natural collaboration. From hanging out with our office dogs to enjoying Thursday happy hours, we keep our work environment vibrant, welcoming, and fun. Each year, we also encourage our people to spend a month exploring the world, whether that means working from another office or even from the beaches of Mexico, to expand their perspectives and bring fresh inspiration back to the team.

The Opportunity

Thinkingbox is looking for a intermediate Designer to join our growing team. We're seeking a highly creative designer with a strong foundation in brand identity, visual systems, and graphic design who is excited to bring brands to life across digital and experiential experiences.

In this role, you'll design projects ranging from brand identities and design systems to multimedia activations, microsites, and large-scale digital platforms. You'll combine strategic thinking with strong design craft, translating creative ideas into engaging, thoughtful experiences that deliver on client goals. Working closely with producers, creatives, strategists, developers, and senior designers, you'll contribute to projects from concept through execution while continuing to grow your skills across a variety of disciplines.

  • Translate wireframes and creative concepts into polished, high-fidelity designs.
  • Create compelling visual assets from initial mood boards through final production.
  • Design interactive experiences and user interfaces that balance creativity, usability, and accessibility.
  • Develop creative solutions that respond to client goals, project briefs, and technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including design systems and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with producers, strategists, creatives, developers, and senior designers throughout the design process.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams and contribute to client presentations.
  • Manage design deliverables across multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Support production and execution to ensure creative excellence through final delivery.
  • Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
What You'll Bring
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic, digital, brand, or experiential design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong work in brand identity, visual systems, graphic design, digital experiences, and strategic creative thinking.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems and brand guidelines.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and digital prototyping.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Bonus Points!
  • Experience with motion design and/or illustration.
  • Start-up experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
Additional Info
  • Monday - Thursday in office (Fridays are remote optional)
  • Flexible time off, including paid vacation and sick days
  • Consistent culture and team-building events
  • Employee recognition and incentive programs
  • Seasonal celebrations and gatherings throughout the year
  • Office lunches
  • Branded company swag
  • Access to industry events, learning opportunities, and non-profit outreaches
  • Dog-friendly offices
  • Unlimited coffee, drinks, and snacks
  • Flex work and travel options
  • Comprehensive extended health benefits
$60,000 - $70,000 a year
