Job description

The Graphic Designer role focuses on turning customer ideas into finished digital designs that support our digital business. You'll work closely with sales and internal teams to develop concepts, create production-ready artwork, and help move projects from idea to execution. This position plays a direct role in the customer experience. The work you produce will be used in real spaces, so attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once is critical.
This onsite position reports to the Manager of Digital Solutions Delivery and is based in the Louisville, KY manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with sales teams and customers to understand project vision and design needs, using strong communication skills to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Provide creative direction and recommend design solutions that align with customer goals while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
  • Develop original designs, layouts, and concepts for digitally printed wallcoverings, applying strong design fundamentals and accuracy
  • Create mock-ups, proofs, and production-ready artwork based on customer input, with a focus on precision and production readiness
  • Complete pre-press reviews of artwork files
  • Participate in project kickoff discussions and collaborate cross-functionally throughout the design process to ensure successful outcomes
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing work effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Maintain organized file structures and asset management practices to support efficiency and consistency across projects
  • Work closely with internal teams to prioritize workload and ensure timely delivery, demonstrating strong collaboration and accountability
  • Support occasional customer-facing interactions, including design consultations, communicating ideas clearly and professionally
  • Take ownership of assigned work, balancing independent execution with team collaboration to deliver high-quality results
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Experience working with large-format digital design and understanding of image resolution
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools (e.g., Firefly and other image-generation technologies) and the ability to integrate them into the creative process
  • Knowledge of digital color management and file preparation for print production
  • Ability to create patterns, repeating designs, and complex layouts preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Prior experience in project-based design work or creative collaboration is a plus
  • Must be able to sit for long periods and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs safely
