Job Summary:
Auburn University is a fast-growing university located in Alabama’s vibrant state capital. They are seeking a full-time Web Developer / Graphic Designer / Document Accessibility Specialist to provide support and maintenance services for the Alabama State Department of Education's website, including developing new features and ensuring document accessibility standards are met.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support and maintenance Services for existing ALSDE
• Development of new website features and functionality as defined by
• Remediate PDF documents, Word files, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and PDF/UA standards.
• Perform any other closely related professional services typically associated with website development, maintenance, and support, including but not limited to activities such as
• Writing and editing content
• Document remediation
• Solving code problems
• Training
• Preparation of documentation
• Other problem-solving tasks
• Designing webpage layout
• Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Two (2) to three (3) years of professional design experience
