Job description

Join Our Team as a Graphic Designer & Multimedia Specialist
The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking a Graphic Designer & Multimedia Specialist to perform professional visual communications work by developing print, digital, and multimedia materials. Leads the development and maintenance of the Town's visual brand.
What You Will Do
  • Serves as the Town's primary graphic designer and visual communications specialist for all print and digital communications;
  • Maintains the Town's visual identity by ensuring consistent branding across all materials;
  • Designs and produces print and digital communication materials;
  • Designs executive-level PowerPoint presentations and visual materials;
  • Creates graphics and visual content for the Town's online channels;
  • Provides professional photography services for the Town;
  • Produces and edits professional videos;
  • Captures and edits drone photography and videography in accordance with FAA regulations;
  • Assists with planning and providing photography, videography, and multimedia coverage of various Town events;
  • Collaborates with the Digital Communications Strategist to develop visual content supporting social media and digital communications;

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design or closely related field
  • Five (5) years of related experience; or combination of education and experience
  • Experience designing flyers, presentation and publications is required
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
